Solid cable lugs for safe connections
Compression cable lugs can be used as a connection between conductors and conductive components. The Al/Cu compression lug is often used for public power supply installations. Attributes of aluminium/copper compression lugs
Al/Cu compression lugs are excellently suited as a connection between a strain-relieved aluminium conductor and copper contact. Using a joining tool, cable lugs can be crimped to the conductors. It is also possible to use re-rounded sector-shaped conductors with the compression cable lug. The compression cable lugs made of e-aluminium and copper materials have indexes and markings specifying suitable cross-sections and crimping sites. Connections between aluminium conductors and copper are commonplace making Al/Cu compression lugs the ideal connecting piece for solving this problem.
