The cable types YSLYCY-JZ/-OZ/-JB are screened machine control cables with fine-wire, PVC inner sheath and different wire labels. They are universally usable, flexible connection and control cables for machine engineering, signal and data transmission and system technology with increased requirements on interference resistance in indoor signal and data transmission (EMC).
Characteristics of the screened control cables YSLYCY-JZ/-OZ/-JB
The fine-wire conductor design makes the control cables of the YSLYCY type flexible so they can be used for applications with an occasional, but not constant movement, such as in control devices and machine tools. The shielding consists of copper mesh and ensures good EMC characteristics for the cable. The PVC outer sheath is largely oil-resistant. The cable is not VDE-tested.
YSLYCY-JZ code—simply explained using YSLYCY-JZ 5x1.5 as an example
The abbreviations mean the following: YSLYCY is a control cable (SL) with PVC-insulated wires (first Y), a PVC inner sheath (second Y), a shield made from copper mesh (C) and a PVC outer sheath (third Y). The additions have the following meaning: JZ is a cable with a green-yellow protective conductor and black wires with a white digit identification. OZ is a cable containing only black wires with white digits and JB is a cable with a green-yellow protective conductor and coloured wires.
