Range of applications for the screened electronic cable LiYCY
The copper-screened electronic cable LiYCY has been designed for interference-resistant transmission of signals in the mA range in electronics, network technology and safety technology, IT systems, control and regulating systems, office equipment, etc. LiYCY cables can be used to connect PC accessories via serial or parallel ports. They are not approved for high-voltage applications such as lighting.

The flexible copper conductor and the soft PVC sheath make the electronic cable LiYCY ideal for connecting occasionally moving equipment, e.g., in offices. The dense mesh shield ensures a high level of interference resistance for the transmitted signals. The cable LiYCY itself is not halogen-free or UV-resistant; however, Faber also has halogen-free (LiHCH) and UV-resistant (LiYCYv) versions in stock. The cable LiYCY uses the colour code according to DIN 47100 for core labelling.
