        SiHF overview

        SiHF is a flexible connection wire for moving devices with low mechanical loads and high ambient temperatures and/or when exposed to cold temperatures. High ambient temperatures occur, e.g., inside of light fittings or other moving electric appliances. SiHF silicone cables can, however, also be used to connect heaters or temperature gauges as well as in smelteries and steel mills.

        SiHF: Specifications and design

        The silicone cable SiHF can be used in ambient temperatures of up to 180°C. The wire’s nominal voltage is 300/500V. Its fine-stranded, tinned copper conductors have a silicone insulation, and the wire is protected by an outer sheath made of silicone.
